I'm curious about the outlook. Are they're rumors about a coordinator hires? Is there a rising QB that improves the outlook?

The school screwed him over in recruiting by not quashing for months the whispers about his job security. Now their class, which was top 25 last season, numbers less than ten total recruits.

Gotta admit, things don't look good for Pittboss. Is there any path to him keeping his job through next season and beyond?

A 6 win season or even 5 with a bowl game. Expectations aren’t too great at Arkansas and they shouldn’t be

We're an idiotic fan base and media state when it comes to this crap. This has the exact same DNA the Nutt lynching had and we've learned nothing. And you know who is a Pitt friend and taking notes on how we act? Musselman. And that scares the shite out of me.

What? We have 18 commits right now.

I think he has to win 8-9 next year to show he’s the guy but it’s going to be a tall task for sure.

I see two possibilities post Misery game win or lose…#1 we win or keep it close, in that case he’s safe. Going into ‘24 KJ moves to TE, Criswell takes over at QB, Augustave is the bell cow RB, Titboss fixes the OL, we hire an OC that optimizes the talent we have on the offensive side. #2 Misery beats the dog shite out of us, Pitt “retires” to the lake, we have to hire a HC and OC and start rebuild number 4 and set the program back another 5 years. After this season I can see either happening, I prefer door number one

Nobody putting up the money to get rid of his lost arse is Pitt's path.

Can someone lest the schedule for 2024 on here please.
This is the only way we will know all about that. But I need to see all the list of the SEC schedule for 2024.

Nothing. They're just putting off the inevitable if they keep him. Often you'll see a new coach come to a program with a lot of energy and do really good things but start fading after that. A lot of coaches can have short term success but it's hard to sustain. I think this is the case with Pittman. To me the most impressive thing about Saban and Smart is their ability to keep the success going year after year.

Arkansas has proven to me that they're done with GAF about football.

Basketball and baseball are the priorities on campus.

I'd be remiss if I didn't mention Yurachek's 33 championships that no one GAF about.

IMO Arky would be crazy to get rid of that man.

Good man, decent coach...use him for what he is.

He is not going to give you a natty but he is perfect to get you relevant. Then at some point in the future, part ways amicably when THAT GUY is available.

Man, that recruiting situation sounds tough. It's gotta be frustrating for Pittboss. Keeping his job might depend on how the team performs next season. If they can turn things around on the field, that might help his case. Winning solves a lot of problems in college football!

Arkansas always finds a way to pull a big upset. They played Bama, Ole Miss, and LSU tough this year but are lacking that upset. Pulling for them this weekend.
