Did they build TP with the idea of development, over years, would reach TP? I’m not from Atlanta but that makes sense.

Atlanta is developed for miles in every direction from TP.
TP is practically in town.

All due respect to a fellow Braves fan, but what on earth are you talking about

TP is pretty much the model for a well-constructed "fake" urban neighborhood for a ballpark, mimicked elsewhere, like Dallas. And unlike Dallas, it's a stone's throw from the city proper.

Atlanta stretches from the Alabama border to almost Lake Oconee in the east, to over halfway to Macon in the South to the foot of the Smokies in the north.

IOW, Atlanta is fricking huge.
