It would've helped (and sadly MARTA never built its Southeast Branch due to lack of funds), but I don't think it would've been the reason for them to stay. Turner Field isn't a thing anymore because the Braves got paid by Cobb County and carte blanche to do what they wanted with the Battery.

That being said, the complex (and the Cumberland area) would tremendously benefit from a MARTA line over there.
