Team just came out flat against a 2-8 Sun Belt team with an early kick time. I wouldn’t read too much into it. It happens. Especially with how the offense responded in the second half

This was somewhat expected

However they better strap it in bc Starkville will be a hornets nest as they can play somewhat of a spoiler to us and we all know how loud and weird egg bowls can get

I shouldn’t feel like this but I’m not worried. Ticket prices are dirt cheep, they look like arse against Southern Miss, and they don’t have a head coach. There have been rumors that the crowd could be close to 50% Ole Miss fans. If it wasn’t Kiffin coaching, I would be nervous but because he’s all business usually I think we handle them.

No it won't. Their fans don't even go to games this year.

This is a Rebel team that finds ways to win. I feel comfortable winning even if we dig ourselves a hole (which we are also good at).

Exactly. Jaxson never panics and is always level headed. And it shows in how our team is performing late in games. Having a QB leader like that is huge.

I suspect we will go down quick 7-0 or 14-0 but climb back and win comfortably

If we go down 14-0 early in the game we have problems. Their offense is dogshit.

Him coming back next year is massive. We should be in playoff contention

We just have to get some depth on both our fronts. If we do that we will be dangerous

Depth on the lines, and revamp the WR room

The only thing that worries me for Thursday night is the way our offensive line looks. Talk about some damn lookout blocks. Its the one area that could absolutely keep them frickers in the game way way too long.

All of our WRs have another year of eligibility. I think Wade & Watkins will for sure be back, but Tre Harris might go pro.

If State is disciplined enough to run the ball down our throats they will move the football, control the clock, wear us down, and at least stay in the game.

The problem is that Leach dismantled the State team that could do that. And replaced it with an AR team. Which Arnett then tried to convert to a Pro style.

We would not match up well against the Miss State teams that I grew up watching. But we will probably do fine against the remnants of the Frankenstein team that's left in Starkville

Can we just tear down the Vaught and build something from scratch? Would love to see us build something to hold 65,000 but have it enclosed and sound engineered to be rockin. VHS is so lackluster

NMSU won by 21 while being underdogs by more than 21 points over Hugh Freeze.

The last time that happened was last was last year when NMSU won by over 21 points while being underdogs by more than 21 points over Hugh Freeze and Liberty.

MISS. STATE has been looking ahead to us since week 2. We don’t come to dominate we will lose. Records don’t matter for the egg bowl.
