Agreed on the State place right now. They may come out of this smelling like a rose, but considering what they may or may not be willing to pay, the schedule they have next year and the amount of kids who are out of eligibility or just want to move on, they have their work cut out for them big time.

This shite again? We are about to achieve our second 10 win regular season (both under Kiffin) in school history. The man is worth the money. His no comment stance on coaching changes is dumb (see Mike Elko statement for how you do it), but other than that, the results are pretty damn good. I would hate to be in State's place right now.

Was it Lane waffling? I just don't think you guys were very good last year. Honestly you were pretty lucky your record wasn't worse.

You are correct. We weren't very good last year. We were average. I don't think our sharp fall was entirely due to Lane. We were ran all the way up to #7 when we went to Baton Rouge only because a lot of teams in front of us lost, not necessarily because we were dominant or looked good (we didn't).

Any thoughts from the group on Arch Manning leaving Texas?

I seriously doubt it. And if he is, I doubt we have a shot at him since the Mannings don’t like Lane. If he transfers I would be willing to bet he goes to Georgia

Four-star Texas A&M QB commit Anthony Maddox has plans to reach out to Ole Miss. From Hattiesburg, MS. I don't remember us being all that after him, but we currently don't have a QB committed so it may now be a fit.

Maddox's father, NFL veteran Anthony Maddox Sr., was a teammate of Ole Miss defensive coordinator Pete Golding at Delta State.

I don’t think either party wants him because our offense runs the quarterback and I just don’t see the Manning’s wanting to unnecessarily risk severe injury.

He’s not very good, and I would hate for him to tarnish the manning legacy at Ole Miss.

I don't believe Arch will transfer, but if he does I would imagine it will be somewhere that he will definitely be the starter. Beck will probably be back another year at UGA and then they have the #1 qb from this year's class to compete with in the future. Alabama has Milroe and then Julian Sayin coming in for the future. As painful as this would be, his best fit might be LSU.

I just got 2 tickets last night section 24. Tickets really are dirt cheap for that game.

Went to the Tulane game this year and we really did takeover that stadium but we won’t do that for State.

There’s an 8 figure difference between their collective and ours rn. That is not hyperbole

Hate that my sons first Rebel game is in Starkville, but it’s never too early to show him State fans in their natural habitat.

Are you taking him to Golden Corral and the county jail?

UCLA firing Chip just got reported. I was never worried about Kiffin leaving for A&M, but this one… different story.

(THIS IS SPECULATION)
