Little Rock (Ark.) Central Arkansas Christian quarterback Grayson Wilson has verbally committed to the home state Arkansas Razorbacks.

Wilson, 6-3, 185, went public with his decision on Saturday following the Hogs’ Red-White spring game in Fayetteville. He is Arkansas’ first pledge for the Class of 2025.

Wilson chose the Hogs over other early scholarship offers from Illinois, Pittsburgh and Central Arkansas. The sophomore has already made a handful of trips to Fayetteville this year and was offered by new offensive coordinator Dan Enos following one of his visits in early March.

"The highlight of today’s visit was being offered a scholarship to play at the University of Arkansas," Wilson said on March 4. "After spending the day with Coach (Dan) Enos and Coach (Sam) Pittman, and seeing all the facilities and support that the football players have, I am honored that Coach Enos and Coach Pittman want me to be their quarterback for the class of 2025 ... Representing my home state is very important for me."

As a sophomore this past season, Wilson completed 143 of 245 passes (58.3%) for 1,737 yards and 19 touchdowns. He also added 530 rushing yards and 7 scores on 84 carries (6.3 YPC).

Wilson has yet to receive an evaluation from 247Sports.

So far, Pittman and the Razorbacks have extended a total of four offers within the state for the Class of 2025. In addition to Wilson, the Hogs have offered four-star safety Omarion Robinson of Little Rock Parkview, athlete Quentin Murphy of Joe T. Robinson, and wide receiver Antonio Jordan of Warren.

While Wilson marks the Hogs’ first commitment of the 2025 cycle, Arkansas’ 2024 class is up to five verbal pledges in Birmingham (Ala.) St. Martin four-star quarterback KJ Jackson, Leeds (Ala.) four-star defensive lineman Kavion Henderson, Ocean Springs (Miss.) St. Martin four-star athlete Noreel White, Batesville (Miss.) South Panola four-star athlete Julius Pope, and three-star defensive lineman Dion Stutts of Memphis (Tenn.) University School.

Arkansas got some good news following its Red-White spring football game as 2025 quarterback Grayson Wilson of North Little Rock called the Hogs.

Wilson made the announcement on his Twitter page on Saturday.

Wilson was offered by the Arkansas coaching staff on March 4 during a visit to one of Arkansas' Prospect Days, and made more trips to Fayetteville afterward.

The Central Arkansas Christian Academy quarterback threw for 1,737 yards and 19 touchdowns last season. He chose Arkansas over offers from Illinois, Pittsburgh and Central Arkansas.

Standing at 6-foot-3 and weighing 185 pounds, Wilson runs a 4.62-second 40-yard-dash, according to his Twitter profile. While the speed doesn't jump off the page, he said in January his pocket-passing game is where he's at his best.

"I think I'm a good pocket passer," Wilson said. "I think I can throw it well on the run. I can escape the pocket whenever I need to. I think I have good leadership and control of the team. I have a strong arm. In my opinion, I have good accuracy and I'm a good leader."

Wilson is a multi-sport athlete for Central Arkansas Christian, playing baseball and basketball as well. He is the first commitment for Arkansas in the 2025 cycle.
