La Tech done best than once yesterday on their home field 6-5. And Ole Miss done everything they could to make sure they didn’t lose back to bakc mid week games to a school from Conference USA. They have been calling for rain today in that area all week. Everyone knew the rains was coming but yet Ole Miss refused to start the game early, and then when it started raining they refused to persevere the playing conditions. And then they refused to play tomorrow 3 innings. La Tech coach tried his best to make Ole Miss happy to be able to finish the game. Bianco knew his team isn’t as good as La Tech. This win should be counted as a no contest.

You make some good points, but nowadays we can look at a radar and see what’s coming and if it’s worth the trouble. There is bad weather in the area.

Ole Miss has a history with being scared of La Tech. In 2021 Ole Miss was smoked by la Tech 13-1. Then the next day Ole Miss canceled the 2nd game. Now here we are La Tech getting screwed again because Ole Miss is scared. La Tech > Ole Miss

Dang I didn’t realize lightning caused the field to be damaged so much that the field would be deemed unsuitable for play.
