How does it work? The thread has missing posts where a poster responded, that you don't want to see?

I think it would be great if you could not see the comment from the blocked poster nor any of the replies to it.

How many times do you open a multi-page thread where Daniel shitposts within the first few comments and half of the next 3 pages are a few people calling him a retard and all of his alters are defending him?

How nice would it be if you could just see the thread without him in it?

Big Dan is right though, because of the nature of tRant specifically, you'd end up missing half the thread.

IMO the only way this would work realistically is for blocked users to be hidden, with the ability to show that content if you wanted. Like if those posts were initially minimized/collapsed instead of totally gone.

But then we're venturing into coding that will probably never happen here, because I don't think this site is built and/or maintained for that type of functionality.

In other words, it'll probably never happen, unless the whole thing is moved to a different platform, and Dhillip ain't doing that shite.
