I can see how that could be effective with your business especially if you have someone who can do the photos and run the complex Pixels on Facebook/Insta/etc. That part needs to be right for the adds to hit the correct feeds.

I ran some facebook ads a few different times and they worked. I got lots and lots of orders but they were basically small. I was spending about $200 a day to Facebook and getting around $1000-$1500 a day worth of orders. The biggest issue was they were mostly small orders which take more time to process. It is the nature of my business. Get small orders, gain customers then turn them into big orders or more small orders.

Unfortunately with my business, I do not have any big ticket items
