Right. I'm going to get some shite for this, but snap or whatever food stamps shouldn't cover any and all snacks, drinks, or foods. It should cover basic foods that meet basic nutritional necessities. It is there as a stop gap, not a luxury.

There should be snap stores which are the only place you can use it. It should only have sensical food and not even contain luxury items.

totally agree - it should be set up like the WIC program where you can only buy certain foods based on nutritional needs.
