I don't blame these kids for getting as much as they can while they can. Ryan could be the next Julio Jones but he could just as easily be the next Tyrone Prothro. None of them are guaranteed making NFL money. Just wish they'd be upfront about it.

I like the idea of the south Alabama kid coming to bama. I assume he would be hungry and playing with a HUGE chip on his shoulder.I believe that’s the kind of attitude we need in this transition.

I watched the interview and I don't think he has a clue. Texas is about to outbid AU which will make it that much harder for him to pick Bama.

Sure he wants to go to Bama. But he is still for sale.

I just don't think Bama is willing to throw a ton of money at him.

Texas also has his QB committed there though we are trying to reel him in.

Who have they thrown a ton of money to?
Sayin and Downs should have freed up some!

Throwing money at these young guys is going to cause some resentment. You may have starters on the team making far less.

It may be better to go with a team full of 4 stars and even things out a bit.

Some people were so crazy about NIL. I wonder how they like it now?

Why does he keep doing the “horns down” sign when he is visiting next? They are not going to like that at all. Even if he is doing that for other reasons.

That’s not horns down that’s almost like a upside down peace sign

Williams recruitment almost reminds me of Winston's recruitment. Family all big UA fans and he really likes the program but wants to go elsewhere.

People supporting paying are not necessarily for an open transfer portal and tampering. Additionally, some people have foundational principles that are more important than their fandom.

It’s an A. It means Alabama.

Hope so…but also hope that ‘A’ doesn’t mean Auburn. With AU getting the last visit, I’m not gonna get my hopes up too high…

Be great if we get him…but if Hale, Law, and Prentice stay, along with the Bernard pickup, I think our WR room will be OK in this system regardless…

Bernard strikes me as very Metchie-like. A little bigger but seems to have good hands, good burst, and has a knack for getting open

Just not enough foresight to see that it was going to snowball into this.

There's no hoping. That's literally what it means. Been a thing for a while.

Kid's a 2025 recruit who is reclassifying. He's missing an entire year of the recruiting process...I know no one feels bad for him on that front but I don't think it's crazy he'd take this to the finish line. Also consider the GOAT coach that has been recruiting him has retired.

He's a good kid and I personally think Bama is where he wants to be but we'll see if that ends up the case.

If he doesn't choose Bama then I'll be right there with you guys in talking shite about him.

In the current era of CFB, it's never over. Even if he signs with UA, he could transfer out next season. If he signs with UT, he could transfer out next season to UA. Perry Thompson could realize his mistake and transfer to UA next season.

CFB is too volatile now to be comfortable with anyone on your roster until the season starts..

The Cow College lives to take something from Alabama. It is possible that this Williams deal is another of their plans but this one would be the mother of all of them. They just needed a recruit to go along with them.

If he doesn’t choose Bama, I won’t be dissing him. These are young guys and it’s a different environment from the old days…or even just a few years ago. A lot of money being thrown around and a lot of pressure on these guys; choosing a school might not be as easy as it looks to us…

My bad; I’m older and been a fan since the late 60’s and first I’ve heard of it…thanks, good to know…
