Weed eaters are the bane of my existence.
I know OT poor and all that crap, but some ppl like me USED to like working in their yard for down time and peace of mind.. but weed eaters can eat a bag of Dicks. I now know why my father tore his rotator cuff chunking his across the highway into the neighbors garbage. Sorry for the rant just wondering if anybody else wants to join in our office space type beating just to take out frustration?

Buy a nice Stihl weed eater and use the ethanol free gas in a can.

I'm gas power sober for two years now. My 80 volt life is good and stress free.

I've chunked a few. And I've gone out and bought a new one when my old one wouldn't start. I go EGO now. Works like a charm and you can cut weeds at six in the morning and not disturb the neighbors.

You wouldn’t have problems if you would just perform yearly preventative maintenance on it.

Or pony up the money and get a real man to do it.

Get an Ego (or whatever battery powered brand you like) and forget about fricking around with gas and oil and priming and pull-starting and filters and spark plugs and etc. Just grab it and get to work.

Man, I have all echo stuff (weed eater, blower, edger) and never had an issue going on 5+ yrs. Ethanol free gas with a little seafoam. Four pulls max and each one is running.

The Ego battery powered string trimmer is the goat. Will cut through just about anything and string is super easy to load. Just stick it through and press a button to wind it up.

I always hated trimmers until I got this thing. Dealing with the string always made me rage quit. Not anymore.
