I 'get it', why some would do it. It's low key trolling and kinda funny. Me, as an Auburn man, rolling Toomer's SHOULD be for Auburn victories, uniquely rare national or global celebrations (say the end of a world war, for instance) , and not for when something bad happens to bama.
But as for now, I'm glad it's on record it was done for his retirement, and not his passing. Because bammers lie about damn near everything.

I questioned that too, but I think after he learned it was only a few people and it pissed off bama fans, is why he thought it was perfect.
He was just hoping it wasn't a large contingent of Auburn people is what I think the negative portion was about. That's how I took it after reading it back a couple of times...
