Classy guy, you could see him struggle at the end. He had a great voice for TV and radio.

I hate that they pulled him from sports because he was 'too talented'. Pulled for him to get the play by play spot after Eels tragically died.

Yeah I like Barrett but Inman would have been a solid replacement for Eels.

This reminded me of long lost LR anchors/reporters whatever. And now I'm stuck not being able to remember someone's name- there was an Anne and she was popular and say in the 80's maybe into the 90's too, had short hair. What the heck was her last name?

And yes, goodbye Scott. You did a great job.

Reading these make it sound like he's dead. Glad he's not.

I have no idea who any of these news anchors everybody always talks about are. Never saw a second of local Arkansas channels growing up. Thank you FCC!! All we were ever blessed with was Shreveport news, KTBS-3, KTAL-6, KSLA-12.

Man did I love missing all those Razorback games broadcast on channel 7 when I was a kid! Instead we got LSU, Saints, and Evangel vs Byrd coverage...YES!!

....at least i'm not bitter....
