They have finally lowered expectations to this point. I'm more excited for basketball every year now. It broke my heart to not have our name called during the selection show.

Update from spring practice.

Defense will be what we expect decent up front and weak in the backfield.

Offense is much better but fumbles a lot...

Whose ready for some football?

News that Chamblee is planning to go into the portal, as most suspected. Why would Pittman even come out with the remark, “he’s lost the love of the game”? I mean it’s just so dumb

That’s an in state kid who committed to the hogs and after a year of starting decides pastures are greener elsewhere. I don’t even blame Pittman at this point. It’s Yuracheks fault he’s still employed.

It’s painfully clear that Pittman has zero clue what to do or say in most situations (example: “I didn’t know what to do”), so he just blurts shite out or pulls things out of his arse as opposed to declining to answer.

Hence you have him saying things like Chamblee has lost his love of football when it’s either a) bullshite he made up or b) an excuse Chamblee gave him heading out the door.

As Winston Churchill said, “better to keep your mouth shut and let people think you’re an idiot than to open it and remove all doubt.”

Like I’ve said before, I don’t blame Pittman anymore. I blame Yurachek for him being here. At a certain point, the ire needs to be redirected from the subpar employee to the manager who hired them and refuses to do anything about it.

Chamblee's mom said the same thing in the past... His uncle did as well, at first... then spoke of dysfunction as the reason, with His mom giving his uncle a bit of a breather.

Drama abounds.

Doesn't losing love for the game implying that you're quitting football, rather than going to play somewhere else? It's just a really sour grapes thing to say, like when Les Miles accused that decommitted QB of "not having the chest."

Spring game this Saturday. Didn’t even know about it until I got an ESPN update on my phone. I don’t think I’ve ever seen our fan base this apathetic about an upcoming football season, even during the morris years.

Winning this season will cure the apathy, less winning will change the coach and cure the apathy as well.
