How does this even work for walkons?

In the past they just weren’t there the next year. I guess I just find it interesting that they announce their intention now.

might be future starter as a place like Samford. This gives them a forum to see if the Samfords of the world want to recruit them.

Oh, I know. That was even the case in my day. The Fran and Shula era. I lived in Rose Towers with a lot of them.

I’d seen video of him in HS (played for a small private school, can’t remember the name) and while the competition wasn’t that great, he was clearly a pretty good player.

He could probably thrive at a school like Samford or Western Carolina or maybe the Division II level.

I also completed a sentence at Rose Towers. Biking up that hill was a ;):@$, but coming back was all coasting.

Felt like a post apocalyptic hospital turned dorm residency. Like something out of the Fallout series.

I have some really fond memories of living in that place. It was the only co-ed dorm on campus when I was there. Girls on every floor.

RIP Room 818. You were a blast.

I would smoke cigarettes out the window of my at-the-time girlfriend's apartment on of the top few stories of rose tower. she had a roommate for like 6 weeks then just had a double to herself for the rest of the year. I essentially moved in from my dorm because it was like having an honest to god apartment.

Loved my time at Rose Towers. It was the best residence on campus in my time there. Modern clean spacious with fantastic views. Watched a tornado float by one time. That was scary.

Man, if Surge were still around! He would be blasting y’all for the Rose Towers comments and hijacking the thread! I had friends that lived there while I was at UA. I, myself, lived in Stadium Apartments 8th Street and Wallace Wade. Cheap as hell, but you were right behind The Strip, which made for an easier return from a night out!! Class of ‘93

Those lower family floors always smelled like B.O. and curry

Alabama leads for transfer kicker Graham Nicholson. He won the Lou Groza award last season.
