I went to Disney once i 1992 and I think it cost me like $150 for the entire day, and that was expensive back then.

I’ll never understand the appeal of Disney and paying $200/person to wait in line and be around the fatties.

Last time I went with my family, I had nuts, protein bars, and other filling snacks along with refillable water cups on hand. We snacked and grazed all day. Aside from an ice cream and soft drink here and there, we spent no other money in the park. Ate pizza, Jersey Mike's and the like after leaving the park. If you go to Disney to eat, then you're gonna spend a ton of money. If expensive either way, but its not hard to be financially responsible once inside the park and still indulge her and there.

Been to Disney quite a few times. This guy spent way more than he needed to. It's expensive, but he knew that going in.

I've paid higher prices than he did for parking and drinks at some NFL games.

He and his family made some very poor snack and food choices that bumped the costs up significantly.

It's definitely expensive, but he did himself no favors and actually still came out with a pretty decent per-person price for a day of that level of entertainment.

Complaining about money. Prob also has vehicle and cc debt thinking it’s normal as well.

So spending a whole day at a theme park is around $300 per person. Not bad. The person did the walk up to Disney. Most people who go to Disney plan a trip and use either a travel agent or their website which offers pay plans and has built in discounts. Plus the purchase of the package comes with food options included and meals.

I am leaving Saturday for one day at the park on Sunday. I am not a resident and got the park hopper. My ticket is $240ish. I don't remember the exact number, but it was less than $250.

Any why do people go back? I went years ago, like many years ago. I had enough.

You can bring in some drinks and snacks of your own. You also don't have to stop every 5 minutes to eat. We did Magic Kingdom from open to close one day and I only remember eating breakfast. Actually no, we ate dinner but it for sure wasn't $245

A fool and their money are soon parted.

$1,000 a day is CRAZY EXPENSIVE no matter where you are vacationing. That does not include airfare or the hotel.

Let's keep in mind it's for a family of 5.
user avatar
That's only $278 per person.
