8 Florida 43-12
9 Arkansas 36-15
10 Missouri 40-14
11 Texas A&M 39-12
12 LSU 38-14
13 Georgia 38-15

All of these teams are vying for that top 8 spot to possibly host a Super. Florida would have the upper hand but we have a weak non-con schedule. Should be interesting at the SEC tournament this week.

Has softball and baseball been at such an all time high at the same time like we seeing now from the SEC.

for the SEC? Yeah, it's been like this for a decade or more. For as much as the SEC has dominated baseball, the SEC has dominated softball even more. College softball is basically SEC plus Oklahoma every year

PAC 12 still has some quality and now the Big12 with Texas and OSU being top teams with OU, but yeah the SEC has the depth. Next year forget about it.

Yes, Tennessee fans are just new to both sports.

It's nice of the girls to let the guys use their field in Knoxville.

Okstate has made it into the World Series 3 years in a row, same with Texas.

Texas, Oklahoma, Okstate, and Tennessee are the best.

It’s funny yall make fun of the Vols field, but I have shown multiple times it’s not even the smallest field in the country or the SEC. There are other fields that are 360’s in the alleys and 310 in left or right field.

Baum Walker
320- Left- same as LNS
320- Right- same as LNS
365- Right Center - same as LNS

Swazy Field-
365- Right Center/alley- same as LNS
365- Left Center/alley- same as LNS
390- Center- same as LNS

Plainsman Park-
315- Left- smaller than LNS
360- Right Center- Smaller than LNS
385- Center- Smaller than LNS

The narrative of Lindsey Nelson being the smallest field in the SEC is wrong.

Softball Champions since 2000
7 - Oklahoma
4 - UCLA
3 - Arizona
2 - Florida, Arizona State
1 - FSU, Alabama, Michigan, California, Washington

By Conference
11 PAC
7 Big 12
3 SEC
1 ACC, B1G

College Softball has been basically PAC + Oklahoma
The SEC hasn't had a champ since 2015.

Fixed it for you..

You have to stop lying.

LNS is 320, 360, 390, 360, 320
Baum is 320, 375, 400, 365, 320
Swayze is 330, 365, 390, 365, 330
Plains is 315 (37' wall), 385, 385, 360, 331

LNS is the smallest by far.

I said last decade

That means from 2014-2023 (10 years)

Florida has 2 titles, Oklahoma 5, FSU/UCLA 1 each

WCWs Appearances since 2014:

Alabama: 6
Florida: 6
LSU: 3
Tennessee: 2
UGA: 3
A&M: 1
Auburn: 2
Kentucky: 1

2014: 3 SEC teams
2015: 5 SEC teams
2016: 4 SEC teams
2017: 3 SEC teams
2018: 2 SEC teams
2019: 2 SEC teams
2020: COVID
2021: 2 SEC teams
2022: 1 SEC terams
2023: 2 SEC teams

Oklahoma went all but one of those years. So 44% of the WCWS participants the past 10 years have been SEC teams or Oklahoma. Seems like a lot

why don't you do some math and tell us what the total surface areas of all the fields are if you think the narrative is bullshite. I think you will be disappointed in the results you find.

that's fair.. they have been that dominant..
they clearly aren't as good this year, but I imagine they will be hard to beat..

Texas won 2 of 3 in Austin
Pokes won 2 of 3 in Stillwater

The WCWS is a neutral site but really more like a home game for OU..

I'll be surprised if they don't win again this year.

Can State slip up and host? They won series against Georgia and Arkansas, and did not get swept all season. 19 Q1 wins (7th in nation). They swept Louisiana OOC.

Ranking is #15. RPI is #21. 6 seed in SEC Tournament.

Better figure out how to stop giving up the HR ball and start getting timely hits, more aggressive at the plate and stop stranding base runners if they’re gonna 4peat. Talent is still there just hasn’t really played like it. It was good to see our freshman the ones making some big time plays in the last game.
