I love living in Texas. We moved here from BR area (which is -- I won't lie -- is really decent directly outside of the city) for a great job that provides very well for our family.

Most of the people outside of Austin and some of the other college towns are great people. They have a very good work ethic, are very good people community-wise and are true conservatives. It's a fantastic state with very good leadership by and large.

But, I am so grateful I am not an Aggie fan right now. Imagine bowing out of your game because of the flu. At least State who was mostly sick with this wu-flu, showed up to their game. They took their arse kickings from a shitty team like men and so far I haven't heard any of their people bitch about it.

The Aggie program will always be shite. I hope they go 8-5 forever. Winning a couple decent games but always being reminded how sub-par and pussified they are.

It's not the flu. You obviously don't work in the medical field or have cared for covid patients.

You're right. It's less than the flu for people who are in decent shape like athletes and non-obese people.

I've had it at least twice and never more than a headache really.

Stupid virtue signaling post that no one cares about. Tell us what kind of car you drive. That will be as interesting.

There are still great people in Austin, and despite the desperate attempt by some posters here to state otherwise, it's been cleaned up a lot in the latter half of 2021.

I would agree that the political leadership in Austin is still mediocre at best.

The city has to do something with the pressure from Abbott.

My son lives there. It has been cleaned up a bunch since last year.

You have some examples of D1 athletes who died from Covid? I'd be willing to listen if you do.

Every month or so we will have new variants. It's not going away.

OP isn’t and will never be a Texan. You’re a transplant from a shithole state so know your place here.

Texas will simply be absorbed back into Mexico over the next 2-3 decades. Good riddance.

So you're an LSU transplant living in Texas? And you don't care for TAMU? Who would have thunk it?
