I'd rather take a vcation to the Gaza strip

That has to be one of the toughest jobs in marketing. You can only put so much lipstick on those turds

I see Silver Dollar City and New Braunfels ads here, mostly New Braunfels. I guess that counts as MO and TX. Silver dollar city might as well be Arkansas.
What does Arkansas have besides Hot Springs and Buffalo National River? Those are both really great places, but the diamond thing sucks.

Maybe if Arkansas spent some money on it they wouldn't be so freaking poor, you need to do something to correct the fact that most people think Deliverance took place in Arkansas.

You need to work on fixing the perception and all the actual inbreeding

I saw a commercial a few days ago touting the wonders of Illinois. What’s with these boring states spending all this money trying to lure tourists. Yeah, right , Illinois, Missouri and Texas are all dream tourist destinations.

I’ve been there. More times than I care to remember since Misery was let into the SEC. Save your money.

Nobody wakes up and says to their family, who wants to visit Texas?

Great state, great jobs, big companies, great culture, but zero fricking tourism. If you’re in Texas, you live there. And I’m sure most Texans like it that way and agree

Great culture? If you enjoy a bunch of yahoos walking around dressed up like a 5 year old on Christmas morning you’ll love it.

Won’t disagree with that. I was mostly referring to authentic Mexican food, BBQ, country music culture.

48 million visitors visited Arkansas back in 2022, up from 41 million in 2021 and 36 million in 2019. Those visitors spent $9.2 billion in 2022, a 15.4% increase from 2019 to 2022.
