This is another site, and it is similar to all other sites about post-spring top 25 rankings for 2024. Don't tell me All the sites have it all wrong about those teams deserve to be pre-ranked for the 2024 season. Congrats on those teams that made the list.

Did he forget that Alabama has a HC and two coordinators that have zero SEC experience? Or that collectively they only have a few years in their roles?

They're still loaded with talent and there's nothing to suggest that Deboer can't coach. They're top 10 until a few teams knock them down to prove otherwise.

Did you forget what DeBoer inherited? A loaded roster, bolstered by a top 2 class, and he’s brought in some good pieces from the transfer portal.

This is for right now. Next month it might change based on roster improvements and/or injuries. A week before the season starts it may change again. Like one poster on here saying Alabama has a top 10 roster but HC hasn't proven yet to do well in the SEC. He has proven elsewhere with a lot less talent on the roster he had coached in the past. So, he deserved to be up there until others beat his team.

I think it's a pretty good Top 25 imo.. I think some teams are just going to be hard to read with the Transfer Portal the way that it is..

Oklahoma & Texas A&M for example.. both have over 40 new players from high school and via the portal.. Lots of talent infused, but there is no way to know how they will play together, or how good they really are..

A coach who can evaluate will feast each year in the portal.

FSU for example had 10 draft picks this year I think..
and 9 were portal transfers..
Norvell or someone on his staff clearly has an eye for talent.

Why didn't Texas try to hire those who have an eye for talent?

I'm gonna guess that'll be the highest they'll be ranked all year.

You mean like LSU did with Nick Saban, Les Miles and Brian Kelly?
