Asking Baseball fans of other teams just to see.

I am just curious as to what y'all think LSU has to do to make the field of 64.
How I feel, we have a really good mid week and out of conference record.
22-3 but it is a rather weak out of conference schedule the highlight wins would probably be Texas and ULL at Minute Maid. Currently 9-15 in league play with an RPI of 33. I will be sweating at 13-17, that would be 4-2 in the 6 games vs Ole Miss and @Alabama which will be no easy task. I think we would be in if we went 13-17 but won both series 2-1 because that would be 5 SEC Series wins in a row and I think that would speak louder than the 13-17 record however I am not sure if we lost to Alabama 1-2 and then swept Ole Miss. Our RPI would be in the 20s, 14-16 I think is a lock.
Also how many SEC teams do y'all think make it overall? 10?

Don't know. But LSU is playing better at the right time. If I had to wager, I would say they win enough to get in. But hopefully not against Alabama.

4 more conference wins and I think you’re in assuming there isn’t a large # of bid stealers.

If you get to 14, you have a really good shot.
Also if you get to 14, you are going to piss off some host out there as a low #2 seed or a high #3 seed in their regional.

I did a in-depth post about LSU-Alabama on Tigerdroppings where I compared all stats. Y'all are no joke and will be a really tough series. Series wins at home vs Arkansas/Tenn/South carolina is no joke. Y'all play a lot better at home from the looks of it and Alabama isn't known for Baseball attendance.
If y'all still had Luke Holman that is a top 16 team no doubt.

If Alabama wins 2 out of 3 then LSU will be out of the tourney.

Honestly just about every team outside of a few SEC teams really don’t want to see LSU in visitors dugout.
Even with some Sunday pitching depth issues LSU is top 2 or 3 in just about every conference outside of SEC.
Baseball bluebloods get more leeway in my book. Go .500 to finish and in.

Win the series vs Ole Miss. Don't get swept at Bama. Win 2-3 in the SEC tourney and you probably have a real chance. LSU may have struggled some this season, but still lots of talent and defending Champs. The selection committee knows that.

I don't know what LSU has to do to get in, but yall are playing well at the right time.
