Seems the majority want nothing to do with LSU/Baton Rouge

Things will only get worse without the St. George folks pumping tax dollars to attempt to keep Baton Rouge safe

Always enjoyed my times visiting LSU, but Baton Rouge was a bit sketchy in spots

Looks like they need to kick some more people out.

Are there any UT fans that actually live in Austin? Real question.

I hear BR is doomed without the St. George piggy bank.

Isn't LSU located in BR?

Bruh... I like pissing off the coonasses as much as the next person... But that whole damn state bleeds purple and gold.

Sports talk radio in louisiana is nothing but sunshine pumping for LSU.

It's now the largest city in Louisiana - about 450,000, with the metro area about 650,000. (The NOLA metro area though is 1.2 million)

North Baton Rouge has a few bad areas. Maybe a few parts of downtown.

But the State Capital Grounds and central, southeastern and University areas of BR are generally fine.

I lived in Baton Rouge for some time. It is now St George I believe.

Really nice neighborhoods next to a trailer park. No area was truely safe, as you had crack or meth being cooked a block or two down.

If I went a month without someone trying to get into one of our vehicles I felt lucky.

Well so did I.

No, Baton Rouge is not St. George.
St. George may exist in the future but will be a smaller area.

I don't know what 'trailer parks' you are talking about, but they aren't 'next' to the SE BR subdivisions and gated communities. Nor is there a 'meth' problem or vehicle vandalism in those areas.

Baton Rouge is more spread out now, with the University area and central and SE Baton Rouge nicer.

Everyone can have an opinion. But I think you are wildly off base.

There is but there’s multitudes of carpetbaggers. They’ve infected the state unfortunately.
