What's interesting is that when you look at the field and the benches of these teams no one bats an eyelash at the skewed percentages relative to the population. Ultimately, performance and talent level control (and that's the way it should be).

Why can't the same practice hold true for coaches and administration (and all other aspects of life)?

If a team passes on a more talented minority coach, then the team loses the benefit that that coach would have brought and gets to suffer with a less talented coach; and, another team gets the benefit.
