Surprised he has us as a 7 given Weigmans propensity for channeling his inner Mr. Glass

How is LSU at 9 with a guy that's been a career backup?

And no I'm not saying he sucks. I just want to understand the rationale for such a high ranking.

And "Arch Manning is the best backup in the country"? Based on what? I bet he's not.

Nico was the number two recruit in the entire nation and number one if Arch has a different last name. Everyone wanted him and he dissected one of the bdst defenses in the nation in his first game as a Vol. We have more reason to be excited about him as a player.

The only thing Nuss has is experience. He's a middle of the road game manager type of QB best case scenario. That's his ceiling which is lower than Nico's floor.

That's a lot of hype for a guy who couldn't even beat out Joe Milton.

You have not watched him take a single snap.

Daniels was more of a "game manager" than Nussmeier has been.

you can tell you haven’t followed LSU or the SEC for Long and Nuss is far from a career back up, Funny, the two quarterbacks that were ahead of them just won Heisman trophies

I've watched him plenty. He isn't good enough to make up for LSU's non existent defense.

Because there's also AJ Swann, who was an SEC starter at Vanderbilt, a 4 star sophomore, and a 4 star freshman in that room too.

This is the first time I've ever heard Nuss referred to as a "game manager".

It's well known info within the program DJS. Players talk.

Swann only started in 6 games last year. He was 54.6% with 12 TDs and 7INTs.

His 2022 season % is all over the map.

Still seems like a lofty ranking to me.

I agree it's high. Pate has a lot of faith in Nuss and the coaching he's gotten the last 2 years.
