The only way the Arkansas bats will pick up is if DVH secretly kidnaps hitters from MLB teams and force them to play.

Yeah. We should probably just concede it but, it being several kids last game, I understand why they want to play. This has been an odd series.

Unless Auburn comes back down 12-5 in the bottom of the 9th. Currently in a rain delay. These would be the bracket going off ESPN's graphics. Times are CST, Hoover time zone.

Tuesday, May 21 (single elimination)

Game 1: No. 6 Georgia vs. No. 11 LSU, 9:30 a.m.

Game 2: No. 10 South Carolina vs. No. 7 Alabama, 1 p.m.

Game 3: No. 9 Florida vs. No. 8 Vanderbilt, 4:30 p.m.

Game 4: No. 5 Mississippi State vs. No. 12 Ole Miss, 8 p.m.

Wednesday, May 22 (double elimination begins)

Game 5: Game 1 winner vs. No. 3 Kentucky, 9:30 a.m.

Game 6: Game 2 winner vs. No. 2 Arkansas, 8 p.m.

Game 7: Game 3 winner vs. No. 1 Tennessee, 1 p.m.

Game 8: Game 4 winner vs. No. 4 Texas A&M, 4:30 p.m.

You do know y'all scored 4 runs against our best pitching? We certainly pitched our scrubs today. But y'all go ahead and print the second in the West T-shirts

Just a tad bitter?

Saying that Van Horn put in your scrub pitchers makes you look like you know absolutely zero about baseball as a whole and certainly nothing about Van Horn and his history with Arkansas baseball.

Please.

Take it like a grown man. You got beat. As simple as that. Your bullpen was worn out for a reason through the series while Schloss was able to not use as many. That was the biggest difference in the series.

LSU’s fanbase are inbreds. I’m not sure, but I think that’s worse.

We have good pitching, I wouldn’t call them scrubs, but he wasn’t burning anyone. Carter is pretty good coming back from an injury last year but he was a midweek reliever who may or may not pan out.

Circumstances didn’t call for all hands on deck. We knew how capable aggie can be at hitting, which was addressed in the first 2 games, but this game was of no consequence. Congrats on the win.

This may be where that special rule for the last weekend comes into play. Normally, if they couldn't resume by midnight, game would be called and Bama would be the winner based on last completed inning. But, for the final weekend, the visiting team can be required to stay over to Sunday to complete the series if rain prevents you from completing it on Saturday, and the result would impact the seedings. That would suck, so my guess is that they will avoid that if possible.

3. Arkansas
14. Oregon State
19. Texas

4. UNC
13. East Carolina
20. Duke

21. South Carolina

6. Tennessee
11. Virginia
22. West Virginia

7. Georgia

Working through it, but some of these make sense.. I’m just guessing at the seeds, more trying to align the teams in a bucket.. thoughts?

That is a logical list. I would probably swap Arky and A&M. Ags struggled coming down the stretch.

the top 3 could all be swapped.. could even add TN to that group.. hard to pick one over the other imo

if they pick 5 SEC.. and they should.. the only question is do they load one side with 4 or put 2 on one side and 3 on the other..

They will put them all on one side to try and avoid an all SEC Championship

Not a bad list. The one thing glaring to me is the Vols. I would expect them to be closer to #1 or #2. Possibly higher.

I would put Ags at #2 or even possibly #3. But after that sweep versus Arkansas...who knows.

Really hard to place the top 4 SEC teams which are the top seeded CWS teams. Anyone can beat anyone else on any given day.

If they force all the SEC teams on one side of the bracket they would be completely doing a deservice to the game of baseball as a whole. SEC easily has the very best, top teams and players in the sport. I would crap a brick if they somehow try to seed the SEC to avoid a SEC CWS series.

Generally, the committee likes to award teams with high RPIs and teams that win a title. This year A&M has one but not the other. Same with UT. UK seems like the best of both worlds. I think they’ll get the #1 overall. BUT it does look award to have a #1 seed with many fewer overall wins.

In conclusion…. Who the hell knows?!

Still a chance on Tuesday UF/Vandy knocks one or the other out.

Personally hope Florida makes it as I like watching Cags.

I think the committee would choose UF given the draw he generates in the sport.
