Do they get scholarships to Bass fish? If so, I can't think of much cooler than that.

I don’t think so. Some schools have set that up, but purely club ran at most SEC schools I think

I had never heard of college bass fishing before my high school son told me about it. He's targeting A&M, but Auburn is also on his list. Basically he would enjoy schools where a lot of students like to hunt and fish.

Reprimanded and put on probabtion for violating university Covid policies of travel, even though they are not supported by university except name only pretty much.

A lot of sports have to be club run because of the discriminatory Title 9. Lacrosse, Rugby, Men's Gymnastics, Wrestling are are great sports that were ended unfairly.

No, I asked if they were disbanded for cheating. They were 100% reprimanded & disbanded, though.

Reprimanded and put on a short suspension. Never disbanded.
All the BS was brought about due to having their boats wrapped in AU logos and wearing their AU jersey’s in local fishing tournaments outside of the college circuit just to be able to go fish a tournament during Covid hysteria.
University got on a lot of peoples shite list and ultimately a local lawyer got involved to help the team “resolve” the situation. Hopefully that clarifies the situation more fully.
