Delta has a mishandled baggage percentage of 0.51%, which is exceptional. FYI.

Not sure why they added trips from fricking lexington, gainesville, tampa, and orlanda to Austin but none extra from Atlanta.

Is it though? What if FedEx was 99.5%? Entire industries would be suffering.

Delta added flights into Austin that weekend as Formula 1 is also in town. It isn't mentioned in their release as the Atlanta-Austin route is already an existing route.

Many airlines will also fly larger planes into Austin that weekend to provide more seats. United and Delta both flew 757s into AUS instead of A321's and Boeing 737s for the race last year.

Lol yeah. That ranks in the Top 3 of all airlines and is #1 among the 5 largest airlines. You can also track your bags in real time through their app.

99.5% is significantly better than FedEx's on time delivery rate of 95.3%
