I've been up there for baseball four times and weather always seems to be iffy when we go up there, so being able to wait out rain delays at your hotel, then walk across the street, is great.
Can't speak to baseball but have made the trip to Arkansas for football. It's probably top of my list away game destinations.
I went to Fayetteville for the game in 2013, but was on a charter flight that was in and out on gameday.

I think both coaches want this series played out, and they will do their best to get the games in whether tonight, double-header on Friday, or even playing on Sunday. I don't think either team really cares about the SEC tournament.

Maybe I’ve missed it…is your daughter going to the UA?
Check our board…I give some of my tickets away sometimes there to different sporting events.
She sure is (well, she will be an incoming freshman in August)! She even has me supporting the Hogs but I just cannot do it when they are playing the Aggies so this weekend will be plenty of fun sending pot shots at one another.
Thanks for the offer and I'll make sure I'm on the team board. I think I might be because a son of a friend was a PWO with them a few years back.

I think both coaches would prefer to have the best seeding in the tournament because it gives them more rest

I don’t think DVH would want a double header on Friday if he can avoid it. So everyone would be on the same page.
It’s all speculation, and weather forecasts in Texas are to be taken with a grain of salt. But if they predict rain will stop by 7 pm then a game is still possible. I’m realistic in that longer delays due to lightning would make it impossible to play tonight.

What is everyone playing for:
Florida at #5 Georgia - 6 p.m.[SECN+]
UF is fighting for its regional life while UGA is trying to earn a national seed (top 8).
Vanderbilt at #2 Kentucky - 6:30 p.m. [SECN+]
UK is trying to win their second-ever SEC baseball title and the #1 overall seed while Vandy s trying to stop the bleeding and hold on to their postseason spot.
#23 South Carolina at #1 Tennessee - 6:30 p.m. [SECN+]
UofSC is probably out of the hosting picture, but a series win at UT might change that while UT is waiting to pounce if UK slips up.
#21 Alabama at Auburn - 7 p.m. [SECN+]
Bama is safely in but well away from hosting while Auburn... well... stinks. This is just a good old iron bowl on the diamond.
Ole Miss at LSU - 7 p.m. [SECN]
Both recent champs have fallen on hard times. The winner has a shot at regionals, the loser doesn't. This series is also known as the "We just beat A&M and kept our season alive bowl".
Missouri at #15 Mississippi State - 7 p.m. [SECN+]
Mizzou is trying to make Hoover and continue the season while MSU is fighting for a host spot.
#2 Arkansas at #4 Texas A&M - 8 p.m. [ESPN2]
Arky, like UT, is waiting to pounce if UK splits up. They also win the west with 1 victory. A&M is trying to spot the slide and hold on to the national seed. A sweep means the 2nd west title in 3 years under Schloss.
I am digging the storylines. Almost no meaningless series.

LSU Fighting Tigers need a sweep.

Interesting pitching matchup in Florida/Georgia Series. Looks like Florida is pitching off game 1? starter is 0-2 with 7.82 era?

Doubt DVH or Schloss is down for playing on Sunday as well with the SEC tournament on the horizon. Not that either coach GAF about Hoover.

Honestly getting UF eliminated is almost more important than being Top 8

IIRC isn’t Florida getting arms back from injury? I know the pitching outside of Cags hasn’t been great anyway but maybe some of those high numbers are attributed to guys who went out earlier in the year?
