You’re making a lot of assumptions. Alford could definitely come back. Gonzo could too.

Not to mention it’s not a set lineup like you implied. We have 13 different guys with 15+ starts this season. 16 guys with 5+ starts

Yet steadily improving. Leighton Finley and Kolten Smith are both sophomores who have been pitching extremely well these last couple weeks. Just 4 ER over last 33 IP

It seems you’re implying he got lucky by inheriting a very senior team. Not the case at all. Of the 13 players with 15+ starts, 9 are newcomers brought in by Wes. Every pitcher who was on the team last year is pitching better than they ever have.

Anyone who is actually familiar with the team knows he’s done an incredible job this year.
