It's a vicious cycle. Kentucky pretty much has to do it every year now. I'm kind of amazed they've been successful with it for multiple years.
Arkansas has been doing it for a while now too. They barely develop any of their own position players.
A&M did it this year and already have some Ivy League guys lined up for next year, but I think they'll be a more "pick your spot" program overall.
LSU and Tennessee have been "pick your spot" programs. I think it will still be that way this offseason, despite people wanting us to churn the whole roster.

I like the way the pitching has developed this season and the HS arms we’re bringing in. A lot of arms should come back so hopefully it can help offset losing condon. Then it will come down to how good the portal additions will be. Worked out this year but is obviously a year to year thing
