2. Bryant Denny Stadium was FAR from being ready in 1990, but was finally ready by the time their Legion Field contract expired.

I understood the politics of the time. BAMA was ready to move when they were ready. The fact that Sloan was changing BDS from its 2nd tier showcase was still a credit to his forethought.
