Transfer WR from UW will light it up it we can get the ball to him in a timely manner.

Agreed but I still think the receiving corp is relying on Williams and/or Odom being ready to contribute to be championship caliber. Besides, of course, quarterback play progressing from the 2023 misfires. I don't think Prentice is likely to be that compliment and Law is probably more of a gadget player than a complimentary receiver. Hale, at best, will play late this year and possibly not at all.

Everyone is going to downvote you, but you are entirely correct. They won't agree with you until after the season because they don't want to admit it to themselves yet, but this is the least proven group of receivers we've had since Saban took over.

-Bond was ready to break out nationally, but couldnt wait to cash in on his offer from Texas.
-Bernard is just a guy so far based on his film.
-Hale flashed WR1 potential, but he's off the table for this year.
-Law is a complementary guy, not a feature guy.
-Prentice has been middle of the pack his entire time in Tuscaloosa.
-Henderson is a complete unknown despite being a Jr
-Williams has WR1 written all over his film, but will he be ready to be featured year 1?
-Does Odom count as a WR? He could be "that guy", but he's also a TF

Who out of that group requires a double team? Who is a one on one matchup problem week 1?

Doesn't mean we can't win big without one, but it sure would be nice to have an established playmaker for Milroe to lean on in clutch situations.

I do trust DeBoer's system to elevate mid tier receivers more effectively than we've seen since Sark left, so perhaps a bunch of solid contributors will be enough? Time will tell.
