LSU in semi against UCLA. I watched a fair amount yesterday. Enough going on with five courts active to keep it interesting.

Texas finally got beach V-ball a couple years back. No idea if they're anywhere near as dominant as their indoor counterparts, but does it matter? Rivals football for entertaining TV watching...as long as the camera dudes know what we want to see and give us plenty.

LSU girls are comfortably in the second tier of programs, with UCLA and USC being the two best by a wide margin.

LSU converted the old tennis stadium into the best beach volleyball stadium in the country. Apparently they used to have a margarita machine outside the stadium and pretty happy Gilmore ish atmosphere.

I thought it was a bit ridiculous LSU had to play a match two hours after beating #3 Stanford. Just extend the tournament by a day and have the championship on Monday

Watched most of it today. One of my kid’s Hs buddies was playing. The only time I’ll ever say Geaux Tigers is for this group of girls. Geaux Tigers.

Was that due to weather or what? Seemed like a lot but wasn’t sure if that was normal for them or not.
