First time watching them play but is this there MO?? Things don’t go their way and immediately turn to the ump to bail them out on a technicality? Very week behavior.

I mean, each call was incorrect.

They won all their challenges. Umps were terrible, per the usual. How does the best conference in the nation have such incompetent umpires?

So the fan interference call was correct?

Not from the ESPN cameras.

White was at least 2 feet away from the bag when he was tagged on the stomach.

The runner sliding into second missed the bag and Camarillo tagged him under his knee.

Laviolette touched first before the first baseman had the ball in his glove.

No, but it wasn't a home run. That was the challenge. The umpire made the extra call on his own.

Don’t think the ump had anything to do with the overturned call other than he announced it.

i mean Angel Hernandez is employed by MLB. I think it's just that anyone with any marketable skill or competency isn't going to become an umpire.

That was all Birmingham then. The call of no home run was correct. Fan interference? Not so much.

No. Not sure what that was about, but the challenge was that the ball didn't leave the park.

So either:

A) the ball didn't leave the park and the call was wrong.

or

B) the ball would have left the park for not fan interference.

I'm not whining about this game. LSU won.

But a crew that has 3 calls overturned in a span of 2 innings is trash.

So many excuses. And a&m fans have the audacity to say other teams get special treatment despite the sec umpires clearly slanting the game in their favor tonight

After a certain point, you have to realize that it's more than simple incompetence going on.

Let them have it. Still got the W.

That interference call was complete and utter bullshite though.

I thought so too. Should have been ruled a double.

From what I could tell the fan did touch the ball. But from where the chain fence is behind the left field wall it is literally impossible to reach into the field, so I’m not sure how it was anything other than a home run

If the fan could touch the ball that means it was already over the wall

Not to mention the left fielder not even slightly complaining about it being called a home run

That was a really weird play
