Remember, your school taxes aren't just for your child's education. They also contribute to other kids' education, which is beneficial for the community as a whole. This might indirectly benefit you and your family too.

Same with roads. I have to pay taxes on roads I don't use. That's because it builds a network that is good for the community as a whole.

True.

Not sure why it bothers some so much.

Be honest, how much are the lower 50% learning? The average adult reading level in this country is between the 7th and 8th grade level.

Do you actually think we are getting any value from this?
