That’s ok, I am pretty sure we lost 108-0 at the hands of Alabama in the early 1900’s and lost to Suwanee (sp?) close to that same score.
Don’t think 48-0 is even close to our worst loss ever.

A bunch of these are wrong. 1909 wasn't even Vandy's largest margin of victory against Tennessee. They beat them 76-0 in 1918.

Hell we beat Missouri 72-0 back in the early 90s.

Apparently, the Arkansas football team was already dead from fighting in Europe in 1918, while Oklahoma spent all summer preparing for us.

It was the era when college football discovered strategy. There were a number of innovative coaches and also a large number of schools still playing as pure amateurs and basically just showing up on Saturday

With chargers nor quite on the market yet, what was bama giving to recruits?

I know what they were giving to the Miss State Bulldogs.

Over a century of Azz kickings.

That 77-0 2003 OU/A&M could have been worse too if OU wanted to.

They still are. Now, they're eating into profits.

Coaches in the early 1900s were merciless. Wish it was more like that today. If you don’t want a coach to run up the score, field a better team.

I'm pretty sure ours is 0-75 to UGA in 1942 when most of our players from the previous season were in WW2 while UGA coach Wally Butts got draft deferments.

This is exactly why you all should claim that game as an official one. That way you don't have to explain that arse whoopin Auburn gave you as your worst ever since there would be no good excuse for it.

Strange how a certain pseudo military academy doesn't have the "we wuz off fightin' in da wars" excuse you'd expect them to have for their worst arse beating of all time.

I would argue that even though the score was a little closer, Ole Miss worse blowout was in 2011 when LSU started taking a knee with 5 minutes left in the game.
