Formal Request to the SEC

Hello SEC,
Can we get a different permanent opponent other than Arkansas? I’m tired of them dragging our SoS down. We already schedule enough OOC cupcakes, we really shouldn’t be gifted another FCS level opponent. It’s not fair to our season ticket holders and teams like Florida that play a gauntlet. At least give us Mississippi State for a slight upgrade.

Which teams in the SEC who would include Missouri in their Top 3 rivals?

Missouri could say the same. Kansas, Nebraska and Illinois.
However, social media has OU/Mizzou looking like a prime matchup and, of course, every tweet out there is loitered with Arky fans trying to trash Mizzou’s SoS… which is a self burn. We are too good to be rivals with them though.

You could just go back to the Big 12 or move to the Big 10 (which would be better suited for your athletic department anyways) and it would be a win-win for everyone.

Most of your Twitter fanbase considers Mizzou as a rival now.
Crazy for a team that has no main rival to decline a forced rivalry. I can understand you wanting us to leave since we kick that arse every year.

why would you want that? playing the vandy of both the East and West every year is why you get to make your "mizzou has 1 more win than texas in the last decade" posts.

Texas is 9-3 vs. Kansas State since Mizzou and TAMU tucked tail to the SEC.

Yes please our team never gets up for vandy jr. Its a no win situation for us. If we win no one cares and if we lose we get made fun of.
