One more thing to add is that South Bend is far closer than Austin for almost all of the SEC teams.
The only schools closer to Austin than South Bend are Arkansas, LSU, A&M, and OU. MSU is roughly the same distance to both.

Gainesville is also closer to Austin than South Bend.
Tuscaloosa is also only about 45 minutes closer to South Bend than it is to Austin which not
