First, I will say you and your wife will will find Wimbledon spectacular!

My wife and I went to Wimbledon in July of 2019 for the quarterfinals and had tickets to centre court. Got to see Fed play and Djokovic play (separate matches). It was incredible tennis! Sightlines in Centre Court are incredible as well.

As others have said, getting there is super easy from London (assuming you are staying there). The best stop is actually the Southfields station (not the actual Wimbledon station). The walk to the grounds is probably about a 20 minute walk from the station but you get to walk through the town of Wimbledon which has many pubs and is great to check out before or after matches.

The Tennis grounds are absolutely spectacular! I have been fortunate to attend 3 of out 4 grand slams (no Aussie Open yet) + some other 1000 point tournaments and Wimbledon takes the cake hands down imo. One thing my wife and I loved was going to courts 3, 4 or 5 and watching those matches as well. You can get insanely good seats and watch some incredible tennis. Also, right outside court 1 is a huge outdoor screen and giant wall to watch other matches. Great way to spend an afternoon once the main matches are done.

Lastly, you have to get a Pimm's Cup (Their signature drink)! Pricey, yet delicious. Jealous y'all will be there as Wimbledon is one of the best sporting events I have ever been too! enjoy
