Walter Nolen and LT Overton.

Curious how the first portal window is compared to the second portal window

Obviously we learned that Damonic Williams might have commanded a $1.5mm deal.

But how does that compare to the first portal windows for these two HS 5-stars?

There is a difference between the situations but I’m curious about the varying degrees of desperation between first/second windows.

Say what? The spring portal won't let you go to another SEC team. A stroke of genius by Sankey to discourage the mercenaries from leaving for the cold Arctic teams. Not many takers apparently.

The problem with the numbers thrown out in all NIL funding posts is they are rooted in valuations, assumptions, and hear say. The biggest non-starter though when trying to determine factual numbers, is all three parties involved (the player, the NIL provider, and the school) benefit from inflated numbers.

The player has his ego stroked and increased value, the NIL provider gets more market exposure the bigger the investment, and the school appears to be a bigger player in the NIL market place with larger NIL deals.

I would not be surprised at all if actual NIL funding is a fraction of what everyone seems to think it is.
