Of course I'm optimistic but did you fellas just miss how Petrino ran Louisville into the ground his 2nd time around? I forget how long he was there but they had a 4-8 year under him did they not? I guess the consensus is he did ok at Mizzou st but still..not like his stint at A&m instills any confidence.

His first year here was a 5 win season, maybe he’s not the savior, but he offers a chance to improve.

Petrino led Missouri State to the FCS playoffs for the first time since 1990. That is hard place to win at.

When he went to A&M, the offense improved despite three mediocre QBs, injuries and his offense was held back by Jimbo.
