Napier ain’t the guy. We’re a 4-win team next year with that brutal schedule. Hopefully he can keep this incoming class together for the next coach in 2025.

And please, no more up and comers. We need a proven coach.

Ohio State Twitter is ready to can Ryan Day. Maybe he’d be interested in coming to Gainesville. He may not win the big game, but he wins 10 games a year.

I wish I was upset about my coach being 56-7 rather than coaching like a scared idiot loser.

If I am not mistaken Napier has only beat 2 FBS teams that had a winning season record since he has been here Utah in 2022 and Tenn this season.

OL cant stop a wet fart and we try a triple reverse pass.

Defense is worst ive ever seen in 35 years.

ZERO discipline, got players talking shite to coaches ect.

If I wake up in the AM and see everybody got canned I wont be mad.

Napier is the first UF football coach to open with 2 losing seasons since Coach Wolf in the 1946/1947 seasons when Harry Truman was President - 76 years ago.

I know he walked into a full blown shitshow, I didnt expect a trip to ATL but I did want to see an arc of team improvement over the course of the season..

We played like total shite tonight and its been the same all season. Im off the Billy wagon, cant defend it anymore.

Sums up my sentiments perfectly.
not seeing even minor progress.

Guy is a good recruiter and does some organizational things well but doesn't seem to be moving things in the right direction in any tangible way.

Yep. Going 5-7 isn't my biggest beef but we've looked like shite last night after the half and in 2 of the best opportunities to win (MO and ARK), we shite the bed. Arky was just absolutely patheric. The lack of improvement and discipline irks me the most.

I want BN to succeed a lot but definitely needs to make changes for sure.

SBB is not going to succeed here. He's a fraud at this level of competition. He'll be fired, get paid and return to his true calling, Sunbelt level football.

Zook was a better recruiter and got fired for less.

Let's face it, we were a much better program then, having come off of Spurrier's run.

We're coming off of Muschamp, Macelwain, Mullen.

We've become a coaches graveyard.

I've said in another thread, unless we already have someone committed who is a major hire: Lanning, Urban wants back, or maybe Ryan Day (even with his faults against Michigan and playoff teams, his record is ridiculously good I'd be good with that) firing Napier right now and hoping we find a good replacement will more likely land another Dan Mullen who we'll be replacing again in 2-3 years. Not against moving on Napier, but we need to have some feelers out and a good sense of a real big time hire before doing it if we go that route.

I wish we would have just held onto Mullen another year. So sick of these up and comer hires.

I disagree. We should have cut him loose in 2020 after the Shoe game and cotton bowl fiasco.

Really, we should have never hired him in the first place.

The issue wasn't firing Mullen but replacing him with Napier.

Mullen was awful and lucked into Trask. If it wasn't for trask, we probably would've fired him in 2019-2020.

Mullen was wrecking the program with his laziness and ppl need to stop acting like he’s an offensive wiz and we were losing games 42-49 ect.

The offense his last season was nothing to write home about. Look at his SEC loses

Florida needs a new AD. Nothing has improved under Sticklin.

The only sport that has maintained the winning success under Foley is track and field.

Not only that, we were also losing games:

20-13 (Kentucky)
34-7 (Georgia)
40-17 (South Carolina)
24-23 Ot (Missouri)

His offenses sucked too besides the Trask years and we were rapidly declining under him. Probably would have won 3-4 games in 2021 if we had kept him. Plus the recruiting went to total shite under him.

Napier slowed the bleeding a little with decent recruiting but hasn't fully stopped it, and that's due to Napier's failures, not Mullen's.

Ricky should’ve had a 1,000 yd season, how do you not get him the ball more than once in the last game

Baseball, golf, tennis, gymnastics, swimming and diving would disagree.

Stricklin can't hold Foley's jock strap, but all not lost.
