I think ol' Coach Eaux is doing just fine right now.

Sark would have done anything for it but after you fall backwards into Texas I don't think that happens.
Sark has been the head coach at Southern Cal, Texas, and Washington. Southern Cal and Texas are bonafide blue bloods and Washington is on the fringe.
Despite these tremendous opportunities, his teams are just 59-47 on the field.
I am not sure how else to say this, but never has so little been produced by someone who was given so much.

Aranda would be a good long-term prospect, if the goal were to return to early Saban status (boy genius with extreme attention to detail).
I don't know that he could survive in the circus Bama's become. He's the anti-Saban as far as demeanor. Way too mild, would get eaten alive over there.

Kirby obviously
It’s wild to me that anyone could think that Kirby would leave his alma mater where he’s won 2 nattys so far to go to bama. To play against the program he’s already built into a terror.

There have been quite a few sarcastic suggestions in this thray, baw.

If it’s Pruitt, Saban would have to wait 6 years to retire…lol!!
A program has to be at the absolute bottom of the barrel, to be left in that type of situation for a coaching search.

I'd love to see Lane get it

Kevin Steele was promised HC in waiting to come back.

Would be an intriguing option. But if he's winning in the NFL enough to be a candidate, would he even consider it?
Personally I think it would need to be someone already proven in college...on the field and especially as a recruiter. Dabo is the logical choice. After that I have no idea. No one else has a resume to lead the greatest college football program in history...at least no one today.

It’s gonna happen in the next 5 years or so…. It’s fun to talk about. I’ll start with Dabo or Lane. Those are my choices…
Huepel was my pick of available talent last season. He has always put a big offense on the field. At Bama he should be able to field a good defense. Tenn gave him a competitive raise but Bama can outbid it.

Freeze about to put him out to pasture. It's an AU tradition.
If that happens, they’ll just take Freeze.
