Kermit’s gotta go. We’ve got enough money to get a coach that can get us at least in the tourney. I don’t necessarily care about being ranked.

Time to fire up the coaching hot board.

This is Kermit's 5th season. I very much like him and it's certainly time to see some consistency. Time to see us be the type team that's not on the bubble at best. We've got one of the best on-campus arenas in the game, there are plenty of students right down the street willing to make it a home court advantage even on a rainy weekday night in January. The key, needless to say, is the product on the floor. If it's worth watching and competitive, all of the above will take care of itself.

It's not time for him to go one game into the season. A game we will win. This ain't football. The Alcorn States of the world can be dangerous against a team with many new faces. Remember, it was time for Bianco to go and look how that turned out.

He's got the season to prove himself. This is the most talented roster by recruiting rankings we've ever had. Show he can actually develop these guys and translate that to wins or find someone else who can.
