Especially growing up in Troy. That part of the state isn’t really a Bama stronghold. It’s a weird place where there’s a big mix between Alabama, AU, and a bunch of other stuff mixed in.

Troy U has done a great job of growing its' fanbase with Troy #1.
Before Blakeney came from AU in 1991, you would see more people in apparel for AU and UA at the games.

When AU had the run with Pat Dye, orange and blue took the lead in the Wiregrass. Bama has recaptured that claim, especially lately. But the blend of fans in South Alabama and the Florida panhandle is surely diversified and spread out. Mostly between AU,UA,FSU,UF and LSU.
