In fairness to him he was speeding home to take his Valtrex and penicillin.

Payton Woodyard to the portal. Didn't even make it to the Fall of his true freshman season. Also, has a "Do not contact" label indicating he already knows where he's going. We'll, if we were going to lose a freshman DB, he's the one I would have picked.

Speeding? That's Georgia nonsense.

But for real, we are not getting rid of Pritchett because of speeding

So tampering is involved if he knows where he is going? Or did he initiate the call which would not be tampering by another team.

We’ll probably never know if tampering was involved. Maybe, maybe not.

As far as Pritchett, if he was arrested, it was probably more than just a few miles over the speed limit. I know in some states, if you’re doing 20 or more mph above the speed limit, you can be arrested.

I have no idea how fast he was driving but if he was doing 80 mph down the strip (even at 4:00 am), he qualifies for dumbass status.

I believe that Woodyard was one of the first to receive a visit from Bama GM Courtney Morgan (almost after he and KD landed in T-town).

He wasn't on the strip. He was a block off it at that alley behind Buffalo Phil's.

Since he was cited with "Exhibition of Speed", It's more likely that he was spinning tires through that intersection or something similar.

Coach DeBoer is easy to like. I hope he finds a lot of success here at Alabama.

Exactly. Just watched that clip from spring practice. Such a pleasant guy - people seem to care and love the guy. Always has a smile on his face, talks to everyone, and is so personable.

Such a different vibe we have going on. He is not Saban, nor should he be. He is being himself. Hope his tenure is long-lasting and successful.

That was a cool video. Saban and DeBoer are so inspiring in such very different ways. It was cool seeing Terrion joke around with CKD before ADay and then saying he would have loved to play for him.

It's probably for the best to have a guy that's almost 180 degrees from Saban in terms of personality. DeBoer is more in line with Bobby Bowden or Mack Brown than Saban or other hardasses. Obviously you've gotta coach, but it makes it a lot easier not to have to worry about comparison when you're just so different.

I just want to know whether he's buying a lake house and a boat to take the team tubing!
